FAQs

-We do our yoga barefoot, so shoes off when you arrive.

-Bring your yoga mat. You can also bring a towel, and water bottle if you wish. If you do not have a yoga mat, there are extras at the studio!

-Please let the teacher know about any injuries or health issues you have before the class.

-Please silence and put away cell phones during class.

-If you start to feel overwhelmed during a yoga class, lie down on your mat or come to child pose, and work on calming your breath. As you build the ability to focus your mind and still your body, the struggle will disappear.

-I recommend you wear comfortable breathable clothing that you can easily move around in, and if you have long hair I suggest putting it up out of your way.

-Drink plenty of water before and after class! I also recommend not eating an hour or two before class.

-You don't need to be flexible to come to class! Flexibility is one of the many benefits we gain with the practice of yoga!

-It is recommended to practice yoga 6 days a week, even if it's just for 5 minutes a day! I would recommend starting out with 1-2 days a week and gradually working your way up to 6 days.

-The first class is always the hardest, don't wait too long before your next class, that's how you build strength!!!
